Spicy Indian Royal Mushroom Masala Recipe
Mushroom is a good source of vitamins-B, especially niacin and riboflavin, and rank the highest among vegetables for protein content. But because they are low in fat and calories, Western nutritionists mistakenly considered them of no food value. But in recent past it’s become one of the most attractive dishes among vegetarian.
Interesting Facts: 
Mushrooms need to breathe just like humans do, except they do not have lungs. Mushroom cells exchange gases directly with the atmosphere. If the body of the mushroom is submerged in water it is comparable to drowning. No oxygen can be exchanged, anaerobic bacteria (bacteria which do not need oxygen to thrive) build up, and the mushroom is choked to death.

Ingredients:

Mushroom………………………………………….. 250 gms
Masala (Spices):
Coriander powder----------------------------- 2tsp
Red chili Powder------------------------------ 1 tsp
Turmeric powder------------------------------ 1-1/2 tsp
Salt per taste----------------------------------- 1 tsp
Garam Masala---------------------------------- ½ tsp
Jeera Powder------------------------------------ 1 tsp
Cardamom--------------------------------------- 2pcs
Cinnamon---------------------------------------- 2gms

Gravy:
Onions--------------------------------------------- 100 gms
Ginger garlic paste----------------------------- 1 tsp
Salt-------------------------------------------------- per taste

Steps:

  1. Wash the mushroom and sliced them properly. Slice Onions. 



  1. Heat oil in a Pan. Fry the sliced mushroom for 5-7 minutes. Till its color changes to reddish brown.

3. Making of Royal Masala: Now add sliced onions in frying pan, Fry for 7-8 minutes till its color changes to reddish brown. Add turmeric powder. Add pinch of salt & all masala.

    1. Add sliced mushroom in the pan. It has lots of water and release while frying. Keep the flame medium high heat. Stir it in every 2-4 minutes and cook for 15 minutes. Make sure water get evaporated completely. Now Sahi Mushroom masala is ready to serve.
